Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics before she realized her speedy abilities while she was at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second in the 200 meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed an athletic contract with Adidas. She later attended in the University of Southern California and was a teacher in the elementary school. Felix's first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 secs. Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, defeating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three in her various events at the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
