Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. Her birth date was November 11, 1966. Her feature film debut was a small role on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan is in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began modelling after being approached by a professional photographer. This led to a successful career as a commercial model. Doody avoided nude and glamour modeling, which that was carried into her acting. She was cast in a minor part as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was spotted by the casting director. Doody was named as one the twelve most promising young actors in 1986 in John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was only 18 at the time of her debut in the Bond part. To date, she is the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying featuring Mickey Rourke in 1987, was a different early film in which Doody played IRA Siobhan. Doody was unspoken as the wife of Archibald Craven Lilias when she appeared in his dream, 1987's adaptation from The Secret Garden. The episode of the Storyteller Sapsorrow was her first leading role. The episode aired in 1988 opposite John Hurt, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took possibly her most famous role to date in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery, who played the character's father. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. When she moved to Hollywood, Doody became an international star. The role she played was Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody made her acting comeback in 2003, playing a small role as a character in The Actors, a British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards ceremony. She also appeared in 2004 alongside Patrick Swayze as a television adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. She also appeared in Benjamin's Struggle, a 2005 booklet on the Holocaust. Doody was on Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. In 2011, she was to take on the role of lead on The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. The actress began her two seasons on Beaver Falls, the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). The Almeria tierra de film award was presented to her on the 21st of November, 2018. In addition, she was awarded one of the stars at the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
